Please make a note in your diary for the return of the Lode Tennis Club Quiz. Teams can be up to 8, but just let us know if you would like to come along and we will find a team for you join.

Tickets are £7.50 which will include a supper.

Harvest Festival and Ceilidh weekend on September 18th and 19th, with dancing to English folk music on Saturday 18th from 7.30pm, Adults £6.00, Children free. Tickets available from the Social Club or Lode Post Office.

Sunday 19th will continue the weekend with a bring and share supper from 6.45pm. Please sign the list in Lode Post Office to state what food you will be bringing.

How do you fancy spending your weekend playing games, and raising money for a great charity at the same time? You don’t have to commit to the whole weekend just as much time as you can spare.

Loads of fun games and tournaments going on all weekend, including Giant Jenga, Nintendo Wii and other great kid’s games.

Also, for adults on Friday 24th Darts Tournament (players must register by 7.30pm, £2 per player, all proceeds to the charity.) Saturday 25th Poker Tournament (players must register by 7.30pm, £10 per player (half of the pot goes straight to the charity.) Sunday 26th Pool Tournament (players must register by 2pm, £2 per player, all proceeds to the charity.)

There will be a Raffle with some great prizes up for grabs!

All proceeds from this event will be go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK, who grant wishes to children and young adults, with life-threatening diseases.

Carpet Bowls trial evening from 7.30pm

Come and join us for a Karaoke style singing contest from 8.00pm until Midnight. Entry fee to the evening whether you are singing or not is just £2 . You can sing solo, as a duo or duet or as a group. There will be 3 judges including Simone Cow. The judges will choose 3 finalists and the audience will then vote for their favourite act to decide the winner. We look forward to unearthing a major singing talent at Lode Social Club.
